Then – inspiration struck! Candle making! But let me tell you, deciphering cryptic wax options, navigating the jungle of wick possibilities, and untangling unfamiliar fragrance names online was a whole different story than clicking "add to cart."
My first attempt... well, let's just say it looked less like a masterpiece and more like a sad container filled with a suspicious burnt-gym-sock scent. Discouraged but not defeated, I embarked on a three-year journey of meticulous testing. My living room and my bedroom overflowed with candle testers, each a testament to my quest for the perfect flame. My kitchen became a laboratory, overflowing with beakers and simmering wax concoctions.

Fast forward through countless tests and tweaks, a breakthrough arrived! A perfect wax blend – clean burning and luxurious – became the foundation. The natural cotton wick burned steadily, its soft glow adding a touch of timeless charm to the experience. Nestled within the warm embrace of amber glass jars, the candlelight cast a mesmerizing dance on surrounding surfaces. This wasn't just a candle; it was a symphony for the senses, a labor of love poured into every meticulously crafted jar.
The pandemic may have confined me, but candle-making opened a world. It became more than a hobby; it was a way to express myself and spread a little bit of cozy magic.
